Aman & Partners is pleased to participate for a second year in the Google EMEA Legal Summer Institute, supporting selected law students in Ethiopia through practical legal experience, mentorship and professional development.
The programme provides participating students with direct exposure to the work of a professional law firm. During their placement with Aman & Partners, interns will participate in legal research, drafting, review, discussion and supervised work relating to legal matters.
Working alongside practising lawyers will allow the students to see how legal knowledge is applied in professional practice. They will gain a closer understanding of how lawyers analyse legal questions, communicate clearly, exercise professional judgment, respond to feedback and maintain the standards of care required in legal work.
The internship also includes a one-week virtual programme with Google, through which participants will gain broader exposure to law, technology and business.
By connecting legal education with structured practical experience, the programme helps students develop the discipline, confidence and professional judgment required for a career in law.
Aman & Partners’ continued participation forms part of the firm’s broader commitment to legal education, mentorship and the long-term development of the legal profession in Ethiopia.
The firm looks forward to welcoming this year’s interns and supporting them throughout the programme.
