Aman Assefa & Associates Law Office, first founded back in 2003 by Aman Assefa a reputed corporate lawyer, made an announcement today that it has been restructured and registered as a law firm in accordance with the newly proclaimed enabling law.

The new firm, Aman & Partners Legal Service LLP, is established based on a partnership agreement signed among four partners: Aman Assefa, Bahakal Abate, Ermias Ayalew and Micael Sehul.

Having worked and practiced together in partnership since 2017, the four partners have had a strong and dependable working relationship and a synergy that is reflected in their services to clients. Aman, appointed as the first Managing Partner for the Firm stated that: “The new law enabling the formal registration of law firms merely allows us to formalize the already existing and tested partnership that has already been established between us nearly six years ago”. He added, “it was however something we have been waiting so eagerly for such a long time because we knew that it was indispensable for us to realize our dream, which was, and still is, establishing a firm that will outlive us” admitting that the law allowing establishment of law firms will help formalize and ensure the continuity of legal partnerships and institutionalization of legal service delivery in Ethiopia.

Aman & Partners LLP will continue to cater for and serve clients with their most important legal and regulatory issues in Ethiopia. The Firm will continue to serve the client base under Aman Assefa & Associates Law Office which includes major multinationals operating in various sectors including telecommunication, banking & finance, textile, beverage industry, media, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, agriculture and fintech.

Aman commenting further on the establishment of the Firm said, “I am super excited to witness this historic transition and even more excited in anticipation of what our strong and tested partnership would mean in continuing to provide increased quality of service to clients and in growing our strong and quality pool of lawyers in the organization’’.
